Rain, Glorious Rain – What It Means for Our Pumpkins!

After what’s felt like a never-ending dry spell, the rain has finally arrived – and we couldn’t be happier!

Here’s what the recent showers mean for our pumpkins:

A Much-Needed Drink
Pumpkins are surprisingly thirsty! After weeks of dry ground, this rain has soaked deep into the soil, giving our young plants exactly what they’ve been craving. It’s like handing them a long, cool drink – and trust us, they’re loving it!

Growing Strong
Thanks to the moisture and warmth, we’ll now see the vines begin to spread, the leaves widen, and the very first signs of flowers begin to pop up. That’s when we know pumpkins aren’t far behind!

Nothing Beats Natural Rain
We’ve been irrigating where we can during the dry spell – even sneaking in some late-night watering sessions to keep things going. It's a bit like having a newborn in the house… we’re up feeding during the night! Except in this case, it’s not bottles and blankets – it’s hoses and muddy boots.

It turns out, babies aren’t the only ones that need feeding through the night!
