Foxes Farm Produce run a Farm Mud Run, a Pumpkin Patch and are farmers of Pumpkins and Christmas Trees.

We grow thousands of pumpkins annually and each year we plant thousands of Christmas trees to add to our ever growing Christmas Tree Forest!   We are pumpkins wholesalers and primarily supply wholesale outlets and retailers which includes distribution throughout Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Greater London, Scotland and Ireland. We are proud to supply to East of England Co-Op supermarkets and Chelmsford Star Co-Op supermarkets. We also supply fellow pumpkin patches up and down the country!   We also have Pick Your Own pumpkin patches in Basildon and Colchester open during late September and October where you can come to the field and pick your own pumpkin! Picking your own pumpkin is a fabulous experience for families, both old and young...  During the summer months we run our Farm Mud Run obstacle course, and our Christmas Trees are on sale direct to the public from our retail sites in December.  When you visit our farms, remember to bring your wellies as it could be WET, MUDDY but definitely FUN!!!

Our Story

The Foxes Farm Produce story started when Guy left his home comforts (and noticeably his mother’s cooking!) to attend Harper Adams University back in 2003. Never having cooked before Guy began to live off beans and toast and very quickly got bored! Determined to become healthier and to attempt to cook roasts like his mother Guy decided to branch out!
Having grown up on a potato and vegetable farm in Essex, Guy was outraged to see the prices in supermarkets especially since at home everything was free!! Not willing to pay the high prices Guy decided he could use his home experience to grow his own vegetables.
Later that year he was approached by a fellow student and son of a local farm shop owner wanting to stock Guy’s by now well know produce!
When Guy returned from university he began work as an agricultural land agent and spent almost all of his spare time growing vegetables and progressing his farming business. Although Guy enjoyed this time was precious and because the pumpkins proved to be the most popular of all the farm grown vegetables he decided that these would be the new focus of Foxes Farm Produce!
Guy met Emily in 2010 and coming from a farming background herself she was keen to grow Foxes Farm Produce as a joint project.
Using Guy’s family experience of Christmas Trees, and Emily’s enthusiasm over the festive period, growing Christmas Trees was the obvious choice.
That was then, and now a few years later more trees and pumpkins are being planted every year!
In 2015 Guy and Emily got married and of course pumpkins and Christmas Trees played a large part of the rustic, farming celebration.
The Pumpkin Patch was launched in 2015 and The Corn Maze and the incredible field of fun was introduced in 2017, with The Farm Mud Run launched in 2018!
We love opening up our farms to the public for everyone to enjoy, so why not give us a visit and see what the farm is all about!! We cannot wait to see you.....
