THE BASILDON PUMPKIN PATCH OPENING OCTOBER 2024

The Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch is the original pick your own patch in Essex and has been operating since 2015. Visit one of the most Instagramable pumpkin patches in Essex- (Watch House Farm, Wash Road, SS15 4ER. Bus route 9 and 100). Open from October 2024! There is an online booking system and everyone visiting the Pumpkin Patch (excluding babies under 1 years old) will require a ticket. To book your ticket, please click the button below.

What you need to know:

OPENING TIMES Weekends 9am-5pm with last entry at 4pm, Weekdays 10am- 4pm with last entry at 3pm
Over 30 varieties of pumpkins and squash available from the giant orange pumpkins to the mini white squash
Refreshments available- yummy hot chocolates and crepes and spooky sausages and loaded chips from Carnival Coffee
Picnic area provided (please take all litter home)
Bring your camera for all the amazing photo opportunities including Fergie Tractor, Bale Sofas, Instagram frames, gates and more!!

Field of fun area includes:

Hula hoops
Sack racing
Bale Mountain
Mini ride on tractors
Football goals
Throwing games
Fun farm obstacles and more!!!

All the pumpkins and squash are lovingly grown by us the Farmers at our farm in Colchester.

With the changeability in weather affecting stock availability, we cannot guarantee we will be open right up to Halloween. So, we advise getting your pumpkin picking done as early as you can. Don’t worry, the pumpkins will keep if left uncarved until Halloween. Just make sure they’re stored in a cool, dry place.

Please check our website and/or social media the morning of your visit to confirm that we are open, as we sometimes need to close last minute due to weather.
