THE COLCHESTER PUMPKIN PATCH OPENING OCTOBER 2024

The Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch is the original pick your own patch collection in Essex and has been operating since 2015. We operate the biggest and best pumpkin patches in Essex.

There are two locations in Essex. Basildon (Watch House Farm, Wash Road, SS15 4ER. Bus route 9 and 100), and Colchester (Green Lane, Aldham, CO6 3PR. Bus Route 88).

There is an online booking system and everyone visiting the Pumpkin Patch (excluding babies under 1 years old) will require a ticket. To book your ticket, please click the button below.

Please note, regrettably no dogs are allowed.

What you need to know:

OPENING TIMES Weekends 9am-5pm with last entry at 4pm, Weekdays 10am- 4pm with last entry at 3pm
Refreshments available- yummy hot chocolates and ice cream from our very own Horsebox, and beastly burgers and spooky sausages from local farm
Picnic area provided (please take all litter home)
Licensed bar for mulled cider, beer, prosecco and more!
Large 5 acre pick your own corn maze trail with game
Bring your camera for all the amazing photo opportunities including Old American Truck, Fergie Tractor, Bale Sofas, love seat and more!!

Open October 2024

With the changeability in weather affecting stock availability, we cannot guarantee we will be open right up to Halloween. So, we advise getting your pumpkin picking done as early as you can. Don’t worry, the pumpkins will keep if left uncarved until Halloween. Just make sure they’re stored in a cool, dry place.

Please check our website and/or social media the morning of your visit to confirm that we are open, as we sometimes need to close last minute due to weather.
